JACOBSON KENNEL
Puppy Health Guarantee
The Buyer is guaranteed a healthy puppy. All puppies will come with their first set of shots. At the option and expense of the buyer, the puppy should be taken to a veterinarian within 30 days of purchase. If the puppy is found unhealthy, the buyer will receive a 100% refund, provided the dog is returned immediately to the Seller.
This does not include conditions that are the result of the buyer’s negligence or accidental occurrence. This also does not include illness or opportunistic parasite that might occur due to the stress of moving the puppy to the Buyer’s home. Stress of the move might cause: hypoglycemia, coccidia, giardia, kennel cough, etc.
Seller warrants the health of the puppy from hereditary crippling defects, for the first 30 months of life. During those 30 months the dog will be free of hereditary crippling defects as described by www.ofa.org.
If the puppy develops a hereditary defect, in the first 30 months of life, and is to such an extent that it makes the puppy (dog) unsuitable as a pet. One of the following will apply at the discretion of the Seller:
- Once acceptable vet verification documents of said fault have been reviewed by the Seller, along with the return of the puppy and registration papers at the Buyer’s expense, a Refund of the purchase price will be issued.
- Once acceptable vet verification documents of said fault, have been reviewed by the Seller: Replacement of the puppy, once one becomes available, provided that the puppy and registration papers are returned to the seller at Buyer expense.
- Since a great deal of time, money and emotion will be invested in the puppy by the Buyer. One half of the purchase price will be refunded once the seller has received: acceptable verification of said fault and confirmation that the dog has been spayed/neutered and properly treated for said fault.
Guarantee is for the first 30 months of life. All claims must be submitted before puppies 30 months old. It is the responsibility of the Buyer to provide vet verification document of said hereditary crippling defects. If Buyer fails to provide such documentation, the Seller is freed of any and all obligations.
If during this time frame it’s determined that the puppy does indeed have a hereditary crippling defect and the Buyer determines that they want a replacement puppy, the Buyer will then have the option to choose such puppy from a future litter when available.
All other problems that occur will be conducted case by case if seller is contacted. Any decisions will be left to the seller.
IMPORTANT: SELLER SHALL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY MEDICAL EXPENSES, VETERINARIAN BILLS, OR ANY OTHER COST THAT THE BUYER HAS INCURRED.
THE SELLER WILL NOT COVER ANY RETURN SHIPMENT OF THE PUPPY AS WELL.
Seller cannot guarantee size, color, temperament or fertility of any puppy. Seller cannot guarantee puppies potential or prospect of a show quality puppy.
