A Chocolate Tri-Beagle puppy is a cute adorable dog whose colors are brown, tan and white. Below is a picture of a chocolate tri-color Beagle puppy at one week old.
As you can see from this one week old Chocolate Beagle puppy, there is not much tan found on them. The primary color on a young Chocolate Beagle is brown. The next color you will find is white. The tan color will not appear on a Beagle puppy until later.
Here is a picture of the same puppy when it is four weeks old.
As you can see, the puppy still does not have much tan on his face. However he has more tan then he did at one week old. So in other words ,the tan is starting to fill in.
Now, lets take a look at the same Chocolate Tri-Beagle puppy at eight weeks old.
At eight weeks old most Beagle puppies, not all but most, will start to get tan on their face.
Now here is my Chocolate Beagle at nine months old.
His face is completely tan and he is starting to get tan on his front and back shoulders. At about a year, a Chocolate Tri-Beagle will be the color he or she will be for the rest of their lives.
Chocolate Tri-Beagle Puppies for Sale
The male Beagle we use at Jacobson Kennel to sire our puppies is a Tri-Color Chocolate Beagle. He is also AKC registered. The last litter he sired with Nova, contained nine puppies in all. Of those nine puppies, six of them were Tri-Chocolate Beagle puppies. You can see all of the puppies from Nova and Cosmo here.
I hoped the litter would contain a few Chocolate Beagles, but I never imagined that the majority of them would be Chocolate. Even though Nova is a standard Tri-Color Beagle, her mother was a Brown Beagle. I am hoping in the future that Cosmo and Nova will continue to throw a good mix of Standard and Chocolate Tri-Color Beagle puppies.
